		<description>The problem with $.getJSON is that you can&#039;t handle errors. So it&#039;s gonna fail silently. There&#039;s nothing wrong with using eval as long as you know if the source is safe... Alternatively, you can use this: &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;var myObject = JSON.parse(myJSONtext)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;100% safe and quick, and you can fetch json using generic $.ajax() jquery function that is much richer than getJSON (has callbacks for errors etc.)</description>
